Full description

We will begin our tour by immersing ourselves in the city's jewel, the Notre-Dame Cathedral, where you'll find astonishing medieval stained-glass windows and a dazzling 16th-century astronomical clock that is still in operation. If the itinerary allows, we will witness one of its movements that occurs every 15 minutes.

Our tour continues through the cobbled streets of the old town, discovering other treasures of the Alsatian capital. From the old town hall, bearing witness to Strasbourg's rich history as a free city, to the Protestant Reformation and the lasting traces left by this faith, still visible today. We'll also get up close to the Church of St. Thomas, a significant building for the Protestant community, as well as for the region's history.

Later, we will immerse ourselves in the famous and picturesque district of La Petite France, bathed by the arms of the Ill River, a tributary of the Rhine that winds through the historic center. Along the canals, charming half-timbered houses will provide us with a unique visual spectacle.

Also, during our stroll, we will have the opportunity to discuss the various culinary specialties of the region, such as the Kougelhopf, which can be found in most bakeries in the city.
